The Calderdale Open Art Exhibition 2023
Now in its 10th year, the Calderdale Open is the regional showcase for professional and amateur artists from the Borough and beyond.
All works on display were submitted by members of the public. In total, 104 artists submitted 201 artworks in a variety of mediums, of which 87 were selected for display.
The works were chosen by the panel of judges comprising:
- Paul Bartram
- Dr Jo Neil
- Alice Bradshaw
The following artworks were judged as the best entries into the competition.

The exhibition is on display at Smith Art Gallery from 30th September 2023 – 9th April 2024.
